Dr. Harris, D.D.S.
Dr. Harris grew up in Pleasant View, Utah, and holds a D.D.S. from Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine. He’s deeply committed to comprehensive, continuing-care dentistry, earning credentials from the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and more. Beyond his expertise, Dr. Harris is a husband and father of four, who loves camping at Bear Lake, cycling competitively, and exploring the outdoors with his family. He speaks Portuguese and Spanish, helping him connect with a broader range of patients. Dr. Harris’s warm, grounded personality and dedication to lifelong learning make him a trusted partner in your dental health journey.
Dr. Haas, DMD
A Logan, Utah native, Dr. Haas earned his B.S. in Biology from BYU–Idaho and his D.M.D. from Midwestern University in Arizona. Before joining the Smithfield team, he practiced in Idaho, where he treated families in Hailey and Twin Falls. Dr. Haas is a devoted father of three — Allie, Jack, and Lucy — and outside the office he’s passionate about running marathons, fishing, biking, skiing, and spending time camping with his loved ones. His family-oriented nature and adventurous spirit help him build genuine, caring relationships with his patients.
Dr. Chu, DMD, MSc
Originally from Guangzhou, China, Dr. Chu has made Utah her home for over two decades. She completed her B.S. in Pharmacology & Toxicology and M.Sc. in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto, then went on to earn her D.M.D. from Boston University (Goldman School of Dental Medicine), graduating as class valedictorian. She pursued an orthodontics residency at SUNY Buffalo, and today she is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. On top of her clinical work, she has served as faculty at the University of Utah and Roseman University, and she was Dental Director of a Community Health Center in Utah. She’s also a proud mother of two, enjoys world travel and exploring different cultures, and is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. Her global perspective and academic rigor bring a thoughtful, compassionate approach to every patient’s care.
