Meet Dr. Will, Cache Valley's newest pediatric dentist

Apart from his time away from school and service in the U.S. Navy, Utah has always been Dr. Will's home. It's a place he loves for its natural wonders and great people.

Dr. Will's passion for work with kids began long before dental school, when he volunteered weekly at Primary Children's Hospital. After serving as a general dentist in the Navy, those earlier experiences and memories inspired him to complete a specialty residency in pediatric dentistry. His research and commentary have since been published in the academic journal Pediatric Dentistry.

As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Will loves seeing kids for their very first dental appointment. He takes time to make every child feel recognized and appreciated during their visit and he enjoys turning what can be an overwhelming experience into one where a child realizes that they are braver and more capable than they thought. He takes teeth seriously, but not himself, and his well-timed practical jokes are known to bring out plenty of smiles.

At home, Dr. Will and his wife, Katie, are busy raising their two boys, Walter and Grant. He enjoys fishing, building legos and playing board games with his family. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Will treats every child as he would his own, blending compassion and humor to help patients feel right at home.
